Toei Executive: So you see, blue fire is hotter than red ones. Naming blue motif character as Cure Spicy is not actually that off the mark.

Macaron and Chocola are precures from Kira2 Precure. Henry, Emiru's brother, and Hana are from Hugtto Precure, Hana being main precure Cure Yell, while Henry is the first male precure Cure Infiny (though he only becomes a precure in 1 episode)

Or maybe a name like Cure Tasty? I dunno if that sounds good or bad, but they have Cure Yum-yum. lol. I guess they just really wanted the designs to fit into the japanese, western, and chinese food styles.

Looking closer at PamuPamu's design, it's a hamburger-like sandwich, I guess "savoury" is too much of a tongue twister

So Precious is the powerhouse (sacrificing her calories for punch power) and Spicy can create bread constructs as barriers. They have similar roles to Hugtto, but it seems Spicy is good at using her barriers to fight too. I guess that means Yum-yum will be the one who tangles and wraps opponents in noodles. Her transformation is pretty simple, but the animation is pretty good too. I love how Pam-pam's hair accessory is actually the ham and cheese. XD. Just not a fan of how droopy her skirt is, maybe, but aside from that, liking everything so far.

Seems even despite making her first friend, Fuwa is still very hesitant to make more friends. I'm sure she and Mari will be exchanging beauty tips in no time, though. Lol.

Okay I think that was the best blue cure transformation yet simple but effective and that also make the 2nd defense specialized blue cure following Cure Ange from Huggto Precure 💙💙💙

Yeah, Coral had the big defensive 'X' mark shield. Another cure that comes to mind is Cure Rosetta from Doki Doki! Precure with her "Rosetta Wall" defensive move. >_o

I love Cure Spicy's personality. Looks like she will be focused on immobilizing the enemy. Characterization has been really strong with everyone. Shaping up to be a good season. Hope this continues.

Cure Spicy definitely has one of my favorite PreCure designs of all!

Week 4 of day 4 of delicious series I loved how kokone and yui helped that rabbit out so heart warming I believe also cure spicy fits the name because you gotta have hot food once a while :D!

That was a fun episode! And after 3 weeks, finally Cure Spicy is here! All I can say was her interaction with Pam-Pam was adorable. Love that Yui's little oh crap moment in the eyes lol!

But yeah, it was a simple intro but still good nonetheless. I'm assuming that we'll be having the next 2 eps focusing on Kokone before we really get to Ran

I personally like how they explicitly state that Fuwa-san liked being alone and didn't feel sad or lonely exaggeratedly like they usually show these types of characters. The usual way of showing them constantly needing friends all the time is kind of unfair for kids who need their alone time to relax because it paints doing so as wrong, that being in need of a quiet space is less reasonable as needing to have a group of friends. It's good to have a character that enjoys both.

Yui and Kokone are cute together, nice to get cure spicy with pamu pamu, I like her personality, she probably will be my fav girl for this season

I really love Cure Spicy though I thought it would make more sense for her colour scheme to be more warm

This week's episode was so good. I really enjoyed Kome's character and she seems to be the tank of the season. I thought her shape was a square like a sandwich, but I guess it was a circle like a burger. In the end, this was a good and delicious episode.

Poor Kokone just keeps getting interrupted. >__<

Kokone and Spicy are both gorgeous. ♥ Ahh~, and her "oishii" is SO much cuter than Yui's "Deliciousmile." -__-;

We've still one yet to unlock, but so far Pam-Pam >>> Kome-Kome. There's no denying Kome's cuteness, but Pam-Pam's also got that cuteness, plus an actual voice and a great personality.

A bit odd that Spicy's finish is a circle. :/ She's bread-themed, and has a square super-move, squashing an enemy between two pieces of bread, but then her finisher is a... circle? Because curry-pan is round, I guess? Still expected a square.

A certain reviewer from YouTube leads me to say this..... FINAL VENT!!! Anyways, Fuwa is really likable in this episode, being reserve and quiet at times. The way she is introduced last episode and this one shows how her interactions are both similar and different to the previous rich precures. I'm going to wait and watch her character development in future episodes.

Yay! Introduction of the second cure~! I do have to say though... I like that they aren't rushing into having all the girls on the team one episode after another. It's been nice to go a little slower with seeing their interactions before becoming cures. (^_^)
